This calculator is used to estimate an engine's torque, power, and wheel power based on various engine data. Please note that the results are theoretical estimates and may differ from actual values due to simplifications and assumptions in the model.
- Nm
- hp / - kW
- hp / - kW
The calculator uses a simplified model to estimate engine performance based on the following formula for torque:
Torque (T) = K' × Vd × (P × ηv × θign / Tair) × fCR × fhumidity × fE85
Where:
The power is then calculated from the torque and RPM according to:
Power (hp) = (Torque × RPM) / 7023.5
Please note that this model makes several assumptions and simplifications. Actual engine performance can be affected by many factors not considered here, such as internal losses, exact fuel/air mixture, ignition system efficiency, exhaust system design, and much more.
Therefore, the results should be used as a rough estimate and not as exact values.
