The MaxxECU engine control package is an advanced replacement for the original ECU in the BMW E34 with the M30 and S38 engine. With a smooth plug-and-play installation and full integration with the car's existing system, it provides superior engine control and performance optimization without the need for electrical system modifications.
The package fits all BMW models equipped with Motronic 1.1 -1.3 (55pin) with the M30 and S38 engines, including:
- BMW E28 525i, 528i, 535i, M535i
- BMW E24 628CSi, 633CSi, 635CSi
- BMW E23 728i, 732i, 735i
- BMW E32 730i, 735i
- BMW E34 530i, 535i, M5 (S38B36 and S38B38)
A well-mapped MaxxECU will give your M30 or S38 engine a whole new lease of life, with improved throttle response and driveability. We guarantee you will regret not replacing the old Motronic system sooner. Of course, it is available with a basic turbo conversion map according to your wishes. We have mapped both M30 and S38 to over 600hp on untouched engine. Extra inputs and outputs for e.g. Oil pressure and temp, Fuel pressure, or boost pressure control are already in the van. Installation and compatibility:
No cable cutting or electrical system modification required. Installation takes about 30 minutes and the car can be easily restored to original configuration. The throttle angle sensor with adapter supplied must be installed. An intake temperature sensor must be installed (depending on model) and a lambda nut may need to be welded into the exhaust system for optimal wideband lambda measurement.

- Adapter harness for BMW E34 and other models with M30 or S38 engine.
- Deutch DTM 1/8NPT intake temperature sensor.
- Bosch Analog TPS inslusive Adapter.
- Ignition amplifier (when choosing original ignition coil).
- Manual and installation instructions in Swedish and English.
Basic folder and mapping:
A customized base map is included, optimized for original spreaders and about 200-340 hp depending on engine variant. We strongly recommend that it is reviewed and adjusted by a professional tuner for optimal performance, function and safety. Contact us for more information and help with mapping.
